Due to some issues with permitting Race #3 of the HVA summer series has been moved to Kailua Bay. Here's the new race course. The date has also changed. The race will now be held on Saturday July 17. So mark your calendars. We will once again have give aways from Maoli Wa'a. For this race we will also be giving away Kialoa's brand new paddle!

Announcing the HVA New Year's Fundraiser! Please see the attached flyer for info about our first ever fundraising event. Come one come all, help us raise funds for the 2010 Hawaiki Nui trip!

Everyone who attended the Development meeting or emailed  hawaiivaa@gmail.com is getting an invite to the training group. If you DO NOT get one then please email us and you will be added. See you all on Tuesday the 27th for our first practice!

Check out HVA's 2010 event schedule. All races are open to any rudderless single person canoe. The series will include overall points and awards for season winners. Races get progressively longer as the season moves on. Make sure to get in your V-1 and start practicing!
