Just an update on a couple of developments for the upcoming event. Race day schedule is going to be tweaked a bit. We have enough entries that a third men’s heat has been added. This should not make the day any longer since the heat races will only be one lap of the race course. Registration 7-9 Clinic 8-9 Open Men heat 1 10:00 Open Men heat 2 Open Men heat 3 Novice and 15 and under 12:00 Open Women/18 and under 1:00 Open Men final 2:00 Awards 3:00 Secondly, your heat times count. Your overall time for the day will be the total of BOTH your heat time and finals time. (if you qualify) Both races mean something! Lastly, the heat course and final course will take different routes. One will go around Chinaman’s Hat clockwise while the other will go counterclockwise.
